Most of us have an “Old Faithful” favourite saw (or three) that has served us well and we have grown to truly appreciate. That old “they don’t make them like they used to” is true – they don’t. So, if you really want us to put some new life into your favourite saw, we will do our best to make that happen.
However, there are some things you need to be aware of if you want us to upgrade “Old Faithful”:
You need to fill out our online order form below in order to let us know what you have. Once we have that information, we will reach out to you with a rough price quote.
In order to begin any work on your saw we will ask you to ship your saw to our storefront. You will be responsible for draining all fuel and oil then properly packaging and shipping your saw. You will be responsible for any and all shipping costs.
We won’t really know how good a candidate your saw is until we test run it and then pull the engine apart. This means that your saw needs to be in good working order, and the piston and cylinder need to be in excellent shape.
If we need to make any repairs or replace any major components before we start the performance upgrade, we will send you a video detailing the repairs as well as a revised quote for the total cost. We require that you approve the quote before work can begin.
All our work is covered by our 30-day warranty which applies to any system we have worked on and any new parts that we have installed. Customers are responsible for all associated shipping costs. If the repair is covered under warranty, Timberland will complete the repair at no cost and pay for return shipping. If it is not warrantable, the customer will be responsible for the costs of the repair and the return shipping.
